| Hospital gives BCCBF a $3,000 boost |
By Z. T. Ulman The 12th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run sponsored by the Bergenfield Community Center Building Fund Committee in November, had a special air of anticipation and excitement about it. Some 355 residents, many of whom had never previously participated in the event, stepped up to fulfill the $3,000 challenge grant pledged by Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. The grant’s stipulation was that 300 Bergenfield residents must register to participate in the 5K Run/Walk or the Fun Run in order to receive the funds. Englewood Hospital has been a long-time supporter of the BCCBF’s Annual 5K.
